How you will make an impact:
MTS (Meissner Technical Services) provides complete laboratory testing, application expertise, and validation services to support Meissner products.
Our experienced filtration engineers, microbiologists, and scientists are dedicated to providing our customers with solutions to maximize system efficiency, economics, and safety.
We enable customers to speed new and existing pharmaceutical and bio-processing products to market by expediting solutions that meet their filtration and single-use systems technical and validation requirements.
The Scientific Writer will work closely with a high-functioning team to ensure quality, prompt delivery of qualification guides and other technical documentation that is critical for supporting and driving sales.
This work requires in-depth knowledge of the products, the methodologies used to qualify these products, and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Write and format qualification and validation guides for Meissner products to be shared with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the drafting, editing, and submission of application notes, technical notes, and manuscripts for publication.
Organize and synthesize complex technical information into user-friendly, accessible, professional documentation in a timely manner.
Proactively seek out relevant product information from subject matter experts.
Translate customer requests into actionable insights for Meissner engineers, especially regarding cell and gene therapy industry needs.
The skills and experience you'll need:
Masters, PhD, or PharmD in a biology, chemistry, or engineering discipline.
Strong scientific/technical writing experience, with peer-reviewed publications highly desired.
Strong English communication skills, both writing and verbal.
Ability to understand and explain complex technical information from cross-functional teams.
Mammalian cell culture experience is highly desired.

US BASE PAY SCALE $87,600 - $123,400The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
