Class action and/or PAGA experience is required.
Excellent writing skills, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and the ability to handle court appearances are also desired.
This is a full-time position, and we are looking for a long-term addition to our team who has a great work ethic, a positive attitude, and is a person who thrives in a team environment.
It is also our preference for candidates to have roots in the local community, but not required.
Our firm has a low billable hours requirement (1600 per year) with extra work rewarded by a generous billed hours bonus model.
In addition, our firm offers a percentage on collected originations that our attorneys bring into the firm.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and we offer a solid benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD and 401K plan, and significant bonus potential.
We also offer a casual work atmosphere, with no formal dress code.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
