The In-Process Inspector is responsible for the inspection of electronic and mechanical assemblies, printed wiring boards, subassemblies, modules, and completed units.
The inspections are conducted at various stages of production to ensure compliance with engineering documentation, quality, production, and workmanship standards.

1.
Ability to inspect electronic assemblies and electromechanical parts.
2.
Familiar with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
3.
Understanding of electronic components and assemblies, subassemblies (such as PCBAs, and modules), and following documentation (assembly drawings, parts list, wiring diagrams) is essential.
4.
Familiarity with bills of material, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, process sheets, and ability to follow verbal instructions.
5.
Ability to use small hand tools and various measuring devices including, calipers, multi-meters, etc.
6.
Fill out all required inspection checklists and keep accurate records.
7.
Assist receiving inspection with inspection of raw materials as needed.
8.
Complete job functions in a timely manner with high quality.
9.
Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
10.
Must comply with all Electro Static Discharge (ESD) precautions and company policies.
11.
Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the AMC Quality System.
12.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Education and Experience 1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Ability to read and comprehend assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and procedures written in English.
3.
Five or more years in a similar field preferred.
4.
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610.
Current certification preferred.
5.
Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.
6.
Knowledge of electronics assembly processes, SMT, and Through-holes.
