The OpportunitySeeking Wireless Communication Systems Engineers to participate in all phases of wireless technology projects that includes planning, design, implementation, prototyping, verification, and validation.
This position is on a hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days on-site per week is required.

Duties and Responsibilitieso Algorithmic development, simulation, implementation, and testing.
o System performance simulation, bench marking, and testing.
o Setting and tracking development schedules and tasks.
o Design and participate in lab and field testing and troubleshooting.
o Supporting Software development teams for hardware/software implementation and troubleshooting.
o Technical material preparation and documentation.
o As necessary, perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
Required Qualifications and Experienceo M.
S.
or Ph.
D.
in the field of wireless communications and signal processing.
o A minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and development of wireless systems.
o Knowledge and experience with RF propagation and channel modeling.
o Knowledge and experience with digital communication systems such as RF subsystems, synchronizations, channel estimation, channel coding, etc.
o Knowledge about signal processing algorithms, MIMO, OFDM.
o Experiences with fixed point modeling, implementation, and verification.
o Expert in MATLAB programming and simulation.
o Must be a U.
S.
Citizen due to clients under U.
S.
government contracts.
o Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.
Desired Qualifications and Experienceo Experience in modeling and mitigating RF impairments to signals such as AGC, phase noise, frequency/clock offset, etc.
o Wireless mobile ad-hoc networking, medium access, and routing algorithms.
o Cognitive radio congested and contested spectrum and interference mitigation.
o RF sensing, signal detection, and classification, etc.
o Technical writing and presentation.
o Fixed point modeling and FPGA design and verification support.
Travel RequirementsInfrequent travel to support customer interactions or test and demonstration events.
