Summary:
This Systems Engineer would be a tech lead for the development of Electronic Warfare systems.
System development would be primarily hardwareDuties:
o Guide and review the development of system requirements.
o Generate new system architectures and design (power, RF, and functional block diagrams).
o Ensure adherence to appropriate military standards including MIL-STD-461/464, 704, 810, 882o Oversee, support, and review system thermal, safety, and reliability analyses.
o Research and select appropriate COTS components for system development o Support system prototyping at the bench levelo Configure the system and validate the configuration of systems prior to deployment o Support the identification, documentation, and mitigation of program risks o Review all electro-mechanical system drawings; submit drawings for approval.
o Oversee integration testing.
o Troubleshoot system failures and performance issues.
o Support test's evaluation of system performance in the lab.
o Support the development and maintenance of program plans (Basic
Qualifications:
o BS degree in STEM with 9
years engineering experience.
OR 15
yrs experience without a Degree.
o Experience with Ethernet and TCP/IPo Experience using mechanical and electrical drawingso Experience with component selection for system developmento Experience with Agile software developmento Experience with Windows and Linux operating systemso Experience troubleshooting & solving problems A Plus or Nice-To-Have:
o Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principleso Experience with RF receiver and RF jamming, software defined radios, and encryption systemso Experience working with RF test equipmento Experience with concurrent hardware and software developmento Experience with military aircraft avionics and/or storeso Familiarity with referenced military standardso Familiarity with aircraft safety, supportability, maintainability, and reliability disciplinesAbout the Company:
