Eaton's Aerospace Group, Interconnect Technology Division (ITD) is currently seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join our team.
This position is based at our Camarillo, CA location.
Primary Function:
Sets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions.
Essential Functions:
Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding.
Weigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materials.
Able to interface with customers if necessary.
Follow intermediate drawings and procedures.
Perform connector assemblies.
Perform work with limited to no supervision.
Train and assist Assembler 1s.
Manually load and/or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts per work order instructions.
Bond loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions.
Bond interface seals and grommet seals to plastic insert assemblies per work order instructions.
Assemble and bond EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions.
Apply identification stamping to various components and assemblies.
Paint components, as well as apply paint stripe markings to contacts.
Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe work environment.
Assure proper maintenance of a safe and clean work area.
Stage materials for shipment as required.
Prepare single and shielded wires for termination, crimp contacts to prepared wires, terminate simple cables to connectors, and load and operate heat treat and annealing ovens.
Basic
Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English Ability to use calculators Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Camarillo will be considered for this position.
