ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing the following duties:
Oversees the management of the day to day operations and daily workflow of the human resources department.
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Administer employee benefits programs that enhance employee well-being and retention.
Directly manages leaves, ADA accommodations, and workers compensation.
Provides support and guidance when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, accommodating leaves etc.
Guide and support assigned HR team members, providing training and development, performance feedback, and goal alignment.
Develops and Implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives that cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment.
May participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
Manages and directs the full use of the Clinicas HR systems and consults on improvements and best practices in creating more electronic HR practices.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, safeguarding data integrity and privacy.
Performs other duties as assigned to support HR Department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required.
Masters in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred; Certified as SPHR or PHR preferred.
5 years of experience working in human resource management.
Excellent communication skills.
Bilingual English / Spanish a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and proactively analyze and resolve problems.
Must be analytical, strategic, and diplomatic.
Thorough understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Thorough understanding of negotiation techniques.
Thorough understanding of dispute resolution and compensation administration.
Thorough understanding of compensation and benefits administration.
Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
