BASIC FUNCTION Setup machines, continuous improvement of existing machines, new machine design and development, and maintains production and quality by ensuring proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment for Medical device manufacturing.
WORK PERFORMED/RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Work with Engineers and development team to design new machines for production needs.
Work with Engineers on continuous improvement projects.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges, and other tools as needed.
Controls downtime by informing productions workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques, machine modifications, machine adjustments, setup issues, or any other circumstances which would cause downtime and or production loss.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; completing requisitions and turning forms into management for order placement.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends by using CMMS systems.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs machine setups for various jobs before and after production runs.
Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
Must have 3 to 5 years hands on experience in maintenance or engineering

Troubleshooting skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
